HOW THE FUNDING WILL WORK

Africa Loading will be a fully autonomous initiative and will not seek donations from any organisation as part of its working model. If we are to achieve true independence where we can make the best decisions for ourselves, this autonomy is non-negotiable. All individual contributions will be equal. No single African has more of an obligation than another to help the continent. Contributions will be small and therefore requires people on board in their numbers to achieve any success. Critical mass is where our strength comes from. Each of us holds a piece of the puzzle and if we don’t unite, we won’t achieve success.
  1. Africa Loading will raise funds through monthly contributions by its members. Contributions are voluntary and members are bound by their own integrity. No contracts will be entered into for contributions. If members do not contribute, the projects cannot be realised. We would like ours to be the generation that decided not to do nothing.

  2. The principle is that no single individual should be making more contribution than another even if they can afford it. Making higher donations undermines the soul of the project which is unity. We choose to operate with a handicap which is if we all don’t come together to work together, we cannot succeed.

  3. Monthly contributions can not exceed $10. There will be no control in place to prevent overpayments and individuals are responsible for managing contributions in line with the rules. REMEMBER, IF YOU OVERPAY YOU UNDERMINE THE CONTROL FOR UNITY.

  4. Refunds will not be offered. The cost of processing a refund will exceed the monthly amount and in order to keep costs at a minimum such administrative services will not be offered. Refunds can also be used for money laundering and Africa Loading is committed to the prevention of financial crime.

  5. The annual amount of $120 per person is deemed affordable for Africans abroad and individuals with the capacity to afford more than this are encouraged to save their money for own projects or buy into the infrastructure investment opportunities that the initiative would create. This would be their own personal business investments for self and not an investment into Africa Loading.

No single African has a bigger obligation than another for the wellbeing of the continent. Higher contributions than $10 by any individual makes it about money when it is about our numbers. So, no thank you.
